Obama, Out
In 1984, a college player from North Carolina is drafted 3rd in the NBA draft.
The 1st pick was made by the Houston Rockets, who picked Akeem Olajuwon, one of the greatest centers in NBA history, with back-to-back championships in the 1994 and 1995 seasons.
The 2nd pick went to the Portland Trailblazers, who picked Sam Bowie.
Don’t worry if you don’t recognize the name. He suffered multiple injuries and never unlocked his potential.
The Chicago Bulls selected Michael Jordan, a shooting guard from North Carolina, with the 3rd pick of the NBA draft in 1984.
Did the Houston Rockets and the Portland Trailblazers not understand basketball to miss out on Michael?
The answer is that Michael Jordan of 1984 is NOT the same player as he was in 1991, when he won his first NBA championship after replacing nearly all of his team members and the head coach from the 1984 season.
He failed and FAILED again, for six consecutive seasons and made his mark on the world of basketball only after seven seasons in the league.

He proceeded to lead the Bulls to a threepeat, in the 91′, 92′ and 93′ seasons, before retiring, after his father was murdered, only to return at the late stages of the 1995 season, LOSE to the Orlando Magic and come back and win a second threepeat in the 1996-1998 era.
No one is perfect. No one wins all of the time, but someone is the best.
The Netflix documentary ‘The Last Dance’ showed viewers that Michael was flawed in his personality in more ways than people realized and he was a fierce competitor that was very demanding of his teammates.
The documentary also showed viewers that Michael did not have God-given talents, but work ethic that is uncanny.
He is human.
Donald Trump is human.
We are all human.
Some people are just able to perform certain tasks much better than others. Some can execute certain missions successfully, regardless of opposition or apparent character flaws.
This is what the left don’t understand.
They want Michael Jordan to be their kind of guy and win, while Michael Jordan only knows how to be himself.
Human beings don’t grow like trees. Trees grow along fixed paths, ordained by nature, but no two people are ever the same.
We are unique, and we must embrace that diversity instead of subject it to conformity.
Donald Trump’s crown jewel achievement for his upcoming presidency will be to bring world leaders together and collectively resolve that no dispute between ethnic groups, nations and rival countries, is worth the nuclear bomb.
I personally believe he can bring opposing sides to the table and make them see the benefit in foregoing this type of deterrence.
Remember, the 2016 Donald Trump is NOT the 2024 version. This is a much more refined stateman and leader and his actions will prove it.
